I mean, there's no other rookies who haven't got hurt or not producing to even get consideration from the voters.

Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid and Julius Randle gone and Marcus Smart and Aaron Gordon hurt.

Not that Wiggins couldn't have won if others were healthy but it's clearly a wash right now that he wins ROTY without any competition.

Parker was clearly ahead IMO before he got hurt.

It's legit to me. Wiggins is playing great now, multiple 20 and had a 30 point game recently.

If he wins rookie of the year average 10 pts and 3 rebs than ok, but he is putting up nice numbers.

On a serious note though, Embiid would have absolutely ran train on the ROY competition this year. If Noel and his concrete hands can average 8/7/2st/2blk (I realize those are pretty pedestrian stats but still) then a taller, bulkier, infinitely more skilled big man getting fed by MCW would easily put together a ROY-worthy performance

I just thought of something can we take away Brandon's Roy rookie of the year 2006-7 and give it to Reggie Jackson? If staying healthy is the only criteria Reggie bailed out OKC multiple games when Westbrick and K Dur went down. He deserves it.
