James Harden suspended one game for kicking LeBron James

I don't have exact figures, but whenever I see a Houston game he drives into the paint throws his arms up and gets calls

I don't even like Harden, but maybe he's just extremely good at drawing contact?

But if you have watched any Rockets games this year you would know that is not the case.

He is really good at flailing his arms and making it look like he got fouled. He is also really good at basketball. He simply takes advantage of the rules and the stupidity of the refs. He knows that if he drives to the hoop he can flail his arms and cawk his head back and get 2 free throws everytime. It is what it is. He is a flopper and he's good at it, those FT stats don't lie. You think he's the 9nly player in the NBA who can get into the paint or draw contact? No.

He averaged 10.2 FTA first season out of OKC, same as Durant in 2010, it's obviously a skill certain players develop. He needs to sink more shots in games though if he wants to take it up a notch in postseason.

Every superstar has gotten phantom calls, especially MJ and Kobe

The difference is, those guys almost never drove to the hoop out of control, flailed their arms, jerked their head back and begged for a call.

Those guys drove hard to the paint and tried to finish. They weren't fishing for calls. Refs just awarded them superstar calls. Harden is really, really good and it's just a shame that he plays to the refs instead of just going out and balling like he's capable of.

Never been a Harden fan, yet I don't watch many games at all either.

But I will say this, I like Harden now.
