It is most certainly better, you're just not accustomed to it therefore it's unfamiliar and seems foreign. You will adjust to it and realize it's better.

Nope, look at the 1st pic. You can easily see and click everything, from box score to highlights. It was compact and slick.

Now they put shit farther away so i have to spent more of my precious mouse inches moving towards those same places. The text and numbers are also smaller and less clear, the white overlay/background is more bland too. Only a total hipster would say the new layout is better just because he just has to be that guy. Stop being a douchebag.
