He shot 1 less free throw last year compared to his regular season average. Some people here act like he was shooting 5 less. His free throws in the playoffs were never really the problem

HIS FGA went up by 20% as well while his shooting percentages plummeted down into the mid 30's. This was a result of him not getting calls he typically does. Whereas normally those wouldn't be counted towards his FGA, because he would have gotten a foul call in the act of shooting, in the playoffs they let them play on.

8-28 FGA for 10 FTA
6-19 FGA for 4 FTA
13-35 FGA for 9 FTA
9-21 FGA for 8 FTA
5-15 FGA for 7 FTA
9-15 FGA for 12 FTA

The only games he got calls were the last 2, when Houston was down 3-1

20% more FGA
18% less FTA
15% less shooting %
all in 7 more mpg

To put things in perspective, his FTR dropped all the way down to 35%. Normally he's around 55%.
