What made you interested to watch it for the first time? For me most of my friends and family were watching it, and I always knew about it but didn't really watch it because I didn't like basketball. But a few years ago I started to get into it more before I had a girlfriend at the time who really liked it and we watched it together whenever we could and she made me become a fan. I saw it in a new light since I began to watch it more closely and learn about it more. We broke up eventually but my feeling of being a NBA fan still stays with me. Now I feel bad I missed the years that everyone was watching it but I found it boring. How about you guys?

1980 though it was more listening on the radio at that time since they were't on tv that much.

Remember my first game Shaq vs the 76ers finals. My first jersey was Shaq Heat jersey so I became a heat fan. Casually watched post heat collapse in 07 turned me off as well as the Knicks being trash for years. Amare bringing NY back and Derrick Rose got me very interested again

Started watching the Knicks growing up, loved Sprewell. I got really into when ESPN started talking about some guy named LeBron non stop when he was in high school. I started to follow LeBron and here I am.
When he retires, I retire.

Started watching in the early 90s. Watched MJ's "last shot" and was hooked.
Loved Damon Stoudamire, Rasheed, Sabonis and all those JailBlazer squads.
