I get it that he couldn't beat russell to get a ring but wasn't he the greatest scorer in NBA history ? Where is the dominance?

Less Teams = Less Playoff Rounds = Less Playoff Games

    Thread backfire.

Dr. J should not be on this list if it's strictly NBA playoffs. He'd be off the list and Baylor would be 15th

It's weird how West and Baylor made it playing not only in the same era, but in less career playoff games than Wilt as well

In the early part of his career when he was a scoring machine is when the playoffs were 2 rounds. He played more playoff games in the later part of his career with the Lakers after the expansion. This was later in his career post-injury where he was mainly a defensive and rebounding presence.

He was pulling the defensive weight that was allowing West and Baylor to focus on offense and put up that sort of production.

Or maybe he was the biggest choker who ever lived.

No need engaging in mental gymnastics to try and convince yourself otherwise

Ιt's not weird considering they didn't play in the East.

West+Baylor in the East = Below Wilt

Had Wilt had the opportunity to have FACED West and Baylor...no doubt that he would own many scoring and efficiency records.

Wilt would still dominate the league at 50 years old, according to Laz, so I'd say he was still in his prime in his 30s.

Baylor scored 61 points in the finals... where it counts. Stop spewing bullshit, it's quite known wilt underperformed compared to his season average in the playoffs. Good numbers relative to the league, but not to someone that's considered top 10.

Give me your list of players, including Baylor, who put up a 45 point game in a must-win Finals game.

Oh, and let me know how many 50 point playoff games Baylor had, as well. In fact, aside from MJ, give me your list of players who had FOUR 50+ point playoff games. And then,...and this includes MJ...give me your list of players who had THREE 50+ point games in must-win playoff games. In fact, give me a list of players, aside from Wilt, who had even ONE.

Do some real RESEARCH before spewing nonsense.

    Idiot.
