it's what reporters do, they report the news good and bad... no reason to get your undies in a bundle because you don't like what they wrote.. it's fine if you don't want to grant them an interview but banning them from the entire event is bad for the sport, bad for business...

What did they get? Re-credentialed? Extra attention paid to their issues with Mayweather and domestic violence? They didn't lose at all, Mayweather's people screwed up and then scrambled to cover their asses.

Banning them was a mistake, a fact that Mayweather's people realized too late. Mayweather's camp wants as little attention paid to the DV arrests as possible. It will never go away completely so the smart thing to do is let Beadle, Nichols, and whoever else snipe and just ignore it. By banning them they make people ask why they were banned and then the issue getsw more attention.

I'm surprised nobody could talk him down from it tho. I've gotta imagine they have a pretty experienced and savvy PR team that gets paid a lot of money to avoid a mistake like this.

it might or might not be Floyd himself.. could easily be some idiot in his camp There are reports that his publicist is pulling the strings and Showtime is dancing, it's officially showtime that banned the writers but thy didn't do that without somebody in tmt telling the to do it

Really beyond Mayweather and his "camp", I don't think the Pac camp and all the other organizers are too thrilled about some harpy screaming everywhere people should boycott the fight either. I doubt the fighters are personally involved this short before the fight, but if I'm organizing an event I'm not letting the people who are campaigning to ruin and boycott the event inside either, it's a private venue and this is just common sense really.

And if she's telling everyone to boycott the fight why is she even trying to attend? Why is she providing coverage of the fight and more publicity? The hypocrisy is outstanding.
