TV recommendation

Hey guys, I was planning on upgrading my TV, I have a ancient LG 2011 model which is 720P , I was planning on getting a 40-43 inch TV and this is what I found that was within my budget.

both are around the same price but the LG is a 4K

Im sure everyone would say go get the 4k, but I have a PS4 which I plan on using on it, I heard somewhere that since the PS4 is 1080P it will be upscaled by the 4K , which would cause input Lag.

the Sony TV is going for Around $ 413

is around $ 456

I was looking for a 40 inch under $500 bucks. The two tvs in the link are within my price range.
