One of the owners of one of the biggest NBA scouting services claims that NBA teams don't want to draft Greek players, even though they know every year several of them should be drafted, because...

"NBA teams think Greece is a lazy beach culture and all anyone does in Greece is hang around the beach all day and all the players are lazy and don't want to work. They just spend all their time at the beach and don't wan't to do any work because they come from a lazy beach culture. Or at least that is what all NBA teams believe."

But that is the excuse that NBA teams use for why the won't draft Greek players. That's not the real reason, which is politically motivated. Obviously, that excuse they are giving is absolutely absurd.
