Looking at kawhi and Iggy's numbers don't look like any1 guarded em for, played well above their normal level

Terrible yet got the award because #1: was clutch #2: made baskets when required of him #3 provided spark and #4 held Lebron in check all series.
Lebron didn't hold anyone in check - no one. He did run the Cavs offense.

It honestly is good for lebron that Iggy won the finals MVP.
It just shows that if you can defend lebron to make him have finals Kobe like efficiency then you can get fmvp over 26 ppg curry.

Lebron didn't hold anyone in check - no one actually.
Clutch is missing 7 out of 8 free throws to close a game?
Even today he was missing most of his shots when the game got close.
He guarded Lebron well and hit open shots while not being guarded. That isn't a finals MVP.
Curry was drawing double teams and getting trapped off screens, and shifting the whole defense but doesn't get a single vote. Curry was far and away the best player for GSW.

Re: 2 straight years the role player guarding Lebron wins FMVP
how can someone that has to be pulled out of the game when there is almost 4 minutes left because he can't shoot freethrows win FMVP? shit... he held lebron in check? ***** averaged 36. yeah he shot bad but jesus christ, his backcourt was almost impossibly horrific for a finals team.
there starting point guard scored 1 point and two assists....
there starting shoorting guard scored 8 and 6 of those were free throws
and jr smith had 8 points on 2/12 shooting till garbage time.
