Stop playing dumb and pretending like you don't know the history of your own religion. You know very well was a man who spread Islam through violence and conquest.

Qur'an (9:5) "But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them..."

Qur'an (3:83) - "Are they seeking a religion other than Allah's, when every soul in the heavens and the earth has submitted to Him, willingly or by compulsion?"

This verse comes AFTER the verse claiming there is no compulsion in religion.

If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them" Osama bin Laden echoes this order from his prophet: "Does Islam, or does it not, force people by the power of the sword to submit to its authority corporeally if not spiritually? Islam was spread through violence and conquering. How is what is happening today any different from what happened back in the beginning of Islam's history under the guidance of the religions creator Mohammad?

This is actual recorded history. Mohammad's military exploits are chronicled and documented by multiple contemporary sources. You cannot deny facts and real life.

If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah. and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge.

I don't have the Qur'an memorized so I had to look it up. Thank you for not including this part though, it wouldn't fit your agenda. Ask for asylum and grant it to them? What part of that seems forcing someone to convert? Are you upset that the Qur'an puts down paganism? I wonder how any of the monotheistic religions feel about it

Basically you are helping to prove my original quote by confirming what I said in the first place. Mohammad ordered for non-Muslims to either be killed unless they converted to Islam.

Also, why does the Hadith not count in your eyes? Why do you ignore the actual historic records of Mohammad's violent conquests that were written by third party contemporaries?

Mohammad was a great man and accomplished more than most humans in history could ever hope to accomplish within his lifetime and obviously was one of the most charismatic and influential men ever. IMO he is one of the GOAT humans. He also was a violent conqueror who spread his religion through politicking, bloodshed and forced conversion and slept with a 9 year old that he married when she was 6. Also, I'm not sure you understand the meaning of asylum. They were 'educated' on Islam but no one was forced into anything. Escort them to where they may be secure? Gee, I wonder what that means. I'm sure people that are being forced to convert or killed wouldn't be escorted to where they may be secure
