Oh wait, we didn't need those guys did we... It was Greece we were playing.

Maybe U19 was a little overkill.. Send in the 15 year olds next time to be fair, USA. Have some class
Rumor is...we are sending over the WNBA's best next time. And to be honest, that may be overkill.

That's savage. The WNBA? Maybe if they were all pregnant it would be a fair matchup against Greece's best.

Papgiannis with yet another POS game against Turkey today...

4 points, on 2-8 shooting, with 5 rebounds.

Welcome to the benches of Euroleague my friend.

Wow, I am so IMPRESSED with what Team USA did.

    MIND BLOWN.

They would have lost by 15-20 points if Greece had their starting guards.

It's actually quite a pathetic performance by Team USA. If anything, it only showed the level of Greek basketball is higher than I thought it was.

With 3rd string guards they only lost to USA because of missed free throws.

The only idiots are the idiots like you that believe any NBA team could hang for one second with a European team.

My God, a Pan European team would beat them by 50 points.
Team aUSA could be Greece by 80 points and you'd still find a way to make excuses and write it off as a fluke. Seriously, every time Greece loses it's because 2-5 of their 5-8 best players were out injured or playing with a bad injury. That, or the game was rigged in favor of Greece's opponent. In your eyes no Greek international team has legitimately lost a game in and no American international team has legitimately won a game.

Go f**k yourself you ignorant, dumbass, inbred redneck.

Just wait until the 2016 Olympics. That Team USA will be complete and total trash.

All of Team USA's "best players" either suck now, or can't play any defense.

And FIBA is no longer allowing USA to get away with 50 free fouls a game in these tournaments like they used to. Something that has changed ever since the NBA started trash talking FIBA over their new schedule.

Which will turn out to be a suicidal and fatal marketing move by the NBA.

USA in this tournament only beat Greece's 2nd team because they missed a bunch of free throws down the stretch, and they are struggling with Croatia's 2nd team also.

In the past, under the way these tournaments used to be reffed, they would have won these games by 20 points or more.

It will be 2004 all over again, or worse.

How about your boy Papagiannis in his last three games of this tournament.

    A combined 14 points (4.7 ppg) on 7-18 shooting (.389), with 11 rebounds (3.7 rpg.)

Wow...that's your "#1 draft pick in the 2016 NBA draft" alright.

This clown would get mopped by D-Leaguers...

and is destined to ride the bench in the trash that is called Euroleague.

No, if Team USA sends their usuals, don't even need Durant, they'll kick ass and take names in 2016...like they always do. They sent their B team to the last World's and coasted to a gold medal. So even if we keep LeBron, Durant, CP3, Westbrook, and Carmelo (who is a f***ing boss in international play) at home, we'll still take our gold medal and shove it up Greece's and the rest of the world's ass as we, once again, exert our basketball dominance over the rest of the world.

Was this thread or the other thread where Euroleague was claiming Papagiannis kicked Giles' butt up and down the court? Papagiannis had 10 points and 3 rebounds and Giles had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Euroleague, you are one sick, deluded f**k and you've left me no choice. I will be reporting you to Jeff for your lying and racist propaganda.

USA can field at least 10 or 15 national teams that will kick Greece's very best team's ass on any given night.

Rumor has it that we are going to send our Women's Soccer team to the FIBA basketball tournament.

They won't win jack shit in 2016 if the tournament is reffed like this one was. Where they are not allowed to foul 50 times on every possession.

NBA is telling FIBA they won't agree to their new schedule supposedly, and FIBA sent a very strong message in this tournament.

"You will get reffed fairly and equally as every other team from now on then."

That means no gold meal in 2016. And only retards can't figure that out.

They probably won't even win a medal. Let's see now if the NBA all of a sudden magically agrees to FIBA's new schedule or not. If they don't, they definitely will not win the Olympics. No way in hell with that actual fair reffing in place.

    Keep dreaming.

In actuality, the gap is widening!
