Predict Aldridge's stats on the Spurs next season

I think Kwahi's number will increase by a large margin, with Aldridge the Spurs have a guy who can stretch the flour, opening space for Kwahi to attack the rim.

Aldridge will probably average Chris Bosh/Heat numbers.

Seems like something around 18/8 makes sense. He'll play less minutes.

I think the big thing will be his efficiency. I bet the Spurs get him to attack more in the post...and also get him to take more 3's.

I could see him taking around 3...threes a game this year. He's absolutely good enough to do that and it would help his scoring efficiency.

That is what LMA needs to do as a player and the Spurs will realize that. Get to the ft line more often...and take a decent amount of 3's per game. The mid range 2's are fine if you are wide open, but don't settle for contested shots as often as he has on the Blazers.

My guess is that his TS% will jump to around 58% this coming season...

This is a common misconception. The Spurs sure do, move the ball around to find the open man, but that doesn't mean they couldn't incorporate a scorer into their scheme. Usually you had Parker leading the offense and attacking the rim, but since he's declined so much, you don't see his offensive numbers standing out like it used to. Rest assured that the Spurs will feed Aldridge every time they can, and he could be putting up the same numbers he did in Portland without affecting their ball movement.

Depends if Pop switches the offense back to Spurs circa 2005 where it's basically inside-out with a bunch of cuts and picks. If Pop starts the offense with Aldridge I could see him putting up 24ppg with 45-50% shooting. If Pop simply stays with the current offense, I see him putting up more what you guys are saying 18/8 or so. Time will tell. GET EM POP
