I think they see some minutes together. I also think Bass is a decent comparison for Randle in the future.

I was almost gonna give your posts some credit. But clearly you forget Draymond has played C, Ibaka has played C, JJ Hickson has played C, Jordan Hill has played C, Reggie Evans has played C... all while in the West. or maybe you just don't watch basketball?

It's call small ball, dude. Happens a lot.

9/5 in 23 mins. He clearly won't start for them. He's sharing minutes with Bass and Nance.

Green can get away with it because the Warriors have shooters and ball handlers that allows their offense to flourish while their defense lacks help in the paint.

Ibaka can get away with it because he's a premier shot blocker.

Jordan Hill, J.J. Hickson, and Reggie Evans all played for losing teams.

You can't just throw two big men that aren't great passers, don't stretch the floor, and don't protect the rim like Julius Randle and Brandon Bass together and then expect wins to pop out your ass. Those two on the floor together is barbecue chicken for whoever is protecting the rim whether it's DeAndre Jordan, Dwight Howard, or Rudy Gobert.

You can play them together, but expect a bunch of Ls on the schedule to follow.

    He isn't averaging 17ppg

With Kobe on the team and Russell, he will be lucky to average 12

    Randle is starting

I heard him say Bass was coming off the bench when he was interviewed during the summer league game

Bass can most certainly play a little bit of center for the Lakers. No question there, no debate necessary.

As for who is better right now at this very moment in time? I'd say Bass has a slight edge but that could change by mid-season if Randle shows up.

Anyways, I'm thinking Randle plays about 24mpg and averages 12 points, 6 rebounds and 1 block per game.

I don't see superstar potential in him, but I see fringe all-star every year and a solid career for him.

9/4/2 on 46%. He still has a lot to go before he can have a impact in this league. I just hope he stays healthy and Byron plays him as much as he can. This season isn't about wins. It's about developing the young guys and see what they can give us.
