Not saying these never happened at all but it happened less with MJ than the other greats.
I missed this before - yes - MJ's stats were "full" stats, because they always resulted in the team reaching it's ceiling and therefore never underperforming.
.. as opposed to "empty" stats that result in team underperformance.
Full stats reflect a higher skill level, more optimal style, and mastery of the game.

shouldn't be a yearly award that has to be given out, but rather something like winning the treble or the triple crown. it could happen multiple times in a generation or once in 100 years of the sport.
winning 3 fmvps in a row? winning 3+ rings and a finals mvp on the same team? (no ringchasing)

This is a good one. Whatever player sells the most apparel should get the "Michael Jordan" award.
