Taylor swift honestly isnt talented. She's an average singer, average looking, cant dance. I don see ANY appeal. I think she can play the guitar and write. But honestly i'll never unerstand her stardom. At least the other girls are hot.

Taylor makes great music, easily the greatest female musician of all-time or at least since 1964(so called first year of "modern" music).

Miley's last album, Bangerz, was actually an awesome album. It was bangers as the title said. People didn't like it because it was a Miley Cyrus album. If you give that album to people who had no clue who Miley was, I guarantee you 9 outta 10 would have loved that album.

I agree though, that neither Taylor or Miley are as hot as X-Tina and Britney were. That era also had Christina Milian, Jessica Simpson and Mandy Moore. They were hot-looking and all but nowhere were they as great musically as Taylor or Miley is.

She writes genuine music, like you can feel what she's going through in her lyrics. All her break ups, her heartaches.

She writes beyond breakup songs too. Even if it was from a female/girl's perspective, the song has a powerful message to me. I can feel it!

She's not a great dancer because she was a country artist. Plus, not a lot of white girl singers can dance anyway.

Taylor was never about dancing or her looks. It's always been about her incredible music.

Im not a country fan so my experiences are limited. But there is nothing about that song that sounds like she needs to be at the top of the female music game.
