Most of the dudes on this site are your typical american kid that consider themselves cultured bc they get along well with their middle eastern IT guy or bring out a nice cold cup of water to their hispanic landscaper.

True dat...

They have a terrible misconception of what Latino is. We are very diverse and we should be very proud of that. Even within latino families, a whole gamut of colors can be seen. Dark parents, light kids, kids with curly hair from parents with straight hair and on and on. Not to mention that even if all Latinos share Spanish as a language and Roman Catholic as a religion, we don't all have the same make up. Some countries are more mesitizo with Native and Spanish bloods being the main component. Some countries have a heavy influence of African blood. Other countries have huge Italian, German, Portuguese, French influence, etc etc... Latinos are very diverse, Americans have trouble understanding that concept.
