Exactly. Wade is the pinnacle in terms of efficiency and footwork at the guard position. At his best he moved with purpose and had very little wasted movement.

Look at the way he has used his body and feet to destroy defenders over the years with in and outs, euro steps and dukes over the years.

As usual no one can dispute or bring any argument to the table.

This forum is trash for discussion.

Ive made a thread for this fruitful discussion. Please school us on Wade's superior footwork compared to Kobe without sounding retarded.

kobe had a weak frist step

VC had no handles when he got into the league but was dunking on everyone..u know why? Cuase of his godly first step.

Kobe is not an exceptional athlete in ANY measurements...
    first step no
vertical no (it's weak..he can barely do a between the legs dunk lol)
    strength no (narrow shoulders, weak)
    small hands

Just goes to show how much you can accomplish when you work hard at whatever you do every single day. Kobe had a weak vertical and he didn't have PG speed, not the strongest player to play the game, yet he dominated with his high BBIQ and killer instinct.

Kobe worked very hard but every day true.

Which is why I think it's a shame he was never able to enter my top 10. All that hard work only to be on the outside.

Fully agree, Kobe was also more agile.

At their athletic peak and both healthy ... I'm going Wade. I prefer players that slice up a defense from the inside - out. It creates more problems for an opposition. I rather have the guy who gets easy buckets than tries to make difficult shots easy.

Wade has more natural athleticism and flexibility in his motions.
Kobe has more practiced athleticism (vertical height, straight line quickness).

If you go back and watch a 2001 or earlier Kobe it is ridiculous just how many athletic moves he makes in a game. We seriously forget. It's silly how athletic he was back then. He makes someone like Derozen look like a B grade athlete. All we remember now is "stats" like vertical, pure speed etc. Kobe was doing 2-5 super athletic (not seen in today's NBA) plays a game back then.

You ain't lying. What the hell happened to this forum? I remember a few years ago if Bruce Blitz created one of his copy and paste threads, anyone who disagreed with him would jump in and actually make arguments against him and before long you'd have a 20 page thread of back and forths. Nowadays a guy like 3Ball just straight bullies posters here without even trying. Dudes' only response is this-

    Or 'nuh uh'.

Guys can't speak for themselves or formulate thoughts or arguments of their own. Truly a weak era.

Never thought I'd see the day when we agreed on something.
