A humble prophet

God Dragic is sucking ass. If this guy could just make an open 3-ball it'd make a huge difference; would have been the difference between winning and losing last night.
When did this a-hole stop being able to shoot?

Last season, he's been sucking ass from 3pt range for a long time now.

dragic needs the ball in his hands alot to be effective. without the ball, he's practically useless. what they need to do take the ball away from wade more and have him go back to a more off ball player like they did when lebron was there. wade can be effective with or without the ball. dragic and lebron cannot.

Dragic is not Lebron...he could actually create in the half court set. You can't take it out of Wade's hands (who is by far the best player at creating offense for himself and others in this regard) and give it into the hands of a player who can't unless it's in the open court.

The loss sounds ridiculous. More offensive selfishness and ballhogging, Whiteside not playing in the 4th... wtf ...

That's the dilemma. Wade SHOULD be playing heavily off the ball, exploiting soft spots in the defense and creating havoc with his cuts. I'm sure that's what the Heat envisioned when Dragic was acquired. Unfortunately, Dragic struggles to create in the half court and he's been underwhelming in PnR's. Wade is still the Heat's only player who can consistently create for himself and others, and Dragic is completely ineffective off the ball.
Something interesting (and telling) I've noticed is how opposing defenses are keying on Wade almost as if it's 2010. They are trapping hard on the perimeter, denying the ball, and his man-defenders have been extremely active. Dragic's struggles have been a big part of that. At 34 years old, Wade cannot be asked to carry the offense as the primary a creator and playmaker. He can do it for stretches and for key possessions, but he needs to be primarily working off the ball. In order for that to happen Dragic needs to pick up his play.

Agreed. Dragic needs to step it up, when he plays well the team usually wins and runs better offensively.
