Re: Jimmer's debut in the NBDL...LMAO
I'm just surprised that Jimmer didn't transform his game the way JJ Redick did. JJ learned to really perfect his off-ball game, work on his speed, strength, and defense to be one of the most feared shooters in the league...
Jimmer already has the strength and jumpshot, he just needs to work on his off-ball game and speed to carve a nice niche in the NBA. No team is going to give him what he wants, which is the ball in his hands for the majority of the offensive time.

Re: Jimmer's debut in the NBDL...LMAO
I can't believe this guy has been black balled so hard in the NBA. Dude could legitimately score 20 a game with a real opportunity.
He doesn't have NBA talent.
If he has NBA *will*, though, he'll be able to carve out a spot in the league. (JJ Reddick is a guy whose career should have ended at Duke but who's willed himself into being a starter on a contender. It can be done.)

Why so serious?

Jimmer is the NBA's Johnny Manziel

He could def produce if he played 30 mpg consistently. Philly could use him
He's got offensive talent no doubt. He's just a defensive liability. This is not uncommon, how many guys in the league are decent offensively but suck on defense and still get minutes. I agree with the post. Nearly every NBA player with consistent minutes could produce. Jimmer would easily be a double figure scorer. He'd only be 20 or more ppg if he were a first option, but as a 6th man he'd give you an easy 12-15ppg with minutes.

Re: Jimmer's debut in the NBDL...LMAO
The level of play in the D League is too low to mean anything.
It's only good for getting reps and keeping your wind if you don't get minutes in the NBA.

Will Bynum led the DLeague is scoring a few years back

Dirk top 15 all time
Re: Jimmer's debut in the NBDL...LMAO
huge fredette fan here, but im honestly not that impressed by his latest performance. the opponent played no defense. jummer wouldnt get one drive to the basket in a nba game. saying this, his release looked damn slow.
