McGregor didn't even dominate the fight....
Stop jumping on his bandwagon.
A quick lucky punch does not make him a good fighter.
If he was that good, he would have dominated all rounds.
There is still doubt.

Re: McGregor didn't even dominate the fight....
#1 how is a perfectly-timed counterpunch a "lucky" punch?
#2 if aldo (and mendes and everyone else) is that susceptible against conor's punches, then how is he going to hold up against multiple rounds of said punches?

You obviously didn't see what I did there.
You should stay on nba forum and leave this place to the intellects.

Basically the jury is still out on whether he is a great fighter or not.

conor just won his FOURTH belt... i'm pretty sure he's a great fighter at this point.
whether he can dominate 155 remains to be seen, but that doesn't have to do with him being a great fighter IMO.

Re: McGregor didn't even dominate the fight....
How's that lucky punch when it was well timed? Aldo, messed up by charging Conor recklessly. It's clear the Conor is inside Aldo's head. He doesn't usually attack like that if you've been watching him fight throughout his career. I'm an Aldo fan BTW. It sucks to watch MMA today knowing that most of the fighters you're tuning to has suffered devastating losses. Been watching MMA since 2000s.
Conor is a must watch fighter. Dude's striking is legit good for MMA. I have a feeling that he can achieve Anderson Silva level of dominance in the featherweight division. Aldo has no chance to be honest. Even if a rematch will happen it will be just the same result but probably longer fight.

Aldo is the questionable fighter for leaving himself open for a left hook like that.

Mendes also almost took out Aldo moments into the 1st when he left himself similarly open. Luckily for Aldo, Mendes doesn't have McGregor's power.

knocking out your opponent in first 13 seconds of the fight is the definition of dominance

Where in that 13 seconds did he show dominance?

Re: McGregor didn't even dominate the fight....
dominance = 1 punch knockout
if u can take an opponent down in 13 seconds that's called dominance! it's ridiculous to say otherwise!

Re: McGregor didn't even dominate the fight....
He's no Brock Lesnar, but McGregor did well here.

have you ever watched an mma fight before? serious question.
that counter was bruce lee quick. knocked aldo on his ass, ko'ed in the first punch. it was a stupid decision by aldo, but very much a dominant performance by mcgregor.
but you're a troll, no point in arguing this.

That's literally the definition of powerful dominance and the greatest example of dominance shown in this sport so far.
