First Time in NBA history: OKC has 3 players in the top 8 of PER
This would be the first time in NBA history that 3 teammates are in the top 10 for PER.
Hollinger Stats - Player Efficiency Rating - Qualified Players
1 Stephen Curry, GS 32.07
2 Russell Westbrook, 31.12
3 Kevin Durant, OKC 28.40
4 Kawhi Leonard, SA 27.40
5 LeBron James, CLE 25.86
6 James Harden, HOU 24.98
7 Enes Kanter, OKC 24.93
A few points to note
1) PER is only an accurate measure of ranking players who play similar minutes, Out of the top 7 listed Kanted plays the fewest minutes.
2) Defense is underestimated with this statistic as the variables it uses to measure defensive impact are blocks and steal which don't paint an accurate representation of a player's defensive ability.
3) OKC offense is ISO-centric and thus results in a large number touches for their superstars, this will often lead to higher PER figure due to the fact that they will have a higher usage rate.
4) The rest of the OKC team is a bunch of misfit pieces.
5) Not even half way through the season.

It's much harder to put that kind of PER when you aren't getting the same number of possessions.
Although point taken our heat team's were pretty stacked lol.

Well, these are my 2 main beefs here. What's the minimum mpg requirement for PER qualification? I guess it's about 20, so Kanter is marginally available.
But, it's still impressive. OKC posts a total team PER of 17.41. For comparison, Golden State is at 17.73.

The rest lf their team sucks though. They need to dump Ibaka for some perimeter player in a trade.

ibaka doesn't suck and dumping him would be one of the worst decisions that they can make right now

First time any 3 teammates have been in the top 8, or if they finish the season in the top 8 would it be the first to finish the season with that title?

NVM, I see the Heat did it. Nothing to see here.
