Default Looking Back was OKC James Harden the Key Piece like D.Green is for the Warriors?

Looking Back was OKC James Harden the Key Piece much like Draymond Green is for the Warriors?

The Clue, the X factor, the missing piece, what ever you want to call it. And if it were now 2015,16 Is there any way possible he wouldn't have gotten paid? How much of a difference would've he been?

No because Harden, unlike Draymond, doesnt defend, hustle, or lead.

Defensive ineptitude or not, the modern day version of Harden on OKC would make for a killer big 3.

Thanx for a positive comment many of the other comments are out of line.
Harden didn't take too much shots in okc he was much under control.
Plus this isn't a thread about how good was his defense. The guy can really get to the basket, rebound, and is one tough dude. Not a bad passer either.

Draymond Green Quote: "James [Harden] is tough," Green said of defending Harden "he's a guy who gets to the free throw line, can shoot the basketball, great player."

    not really

draymond is the perfect pick and roll partner for curry, he can knock down shots, attack the rim, but most importantly he can find the open man. hes a key part of their whole offensive system. they would look completely different if they had a traditional big man in his spot, or even a decent stretch 4 in his spot.

and obviously on defense hes key as well, switching in pick and rolls, which is the key to their defense.

harden, was/is a good player, but he didnt change what okc did. they take turns going iso, intead of having two stars taking turns and a bench that tries to move the ball, they had two starters, and a bench guy who could generate offense.

okc doesnt look all that much different without harden, while the warriors would look drastically different without green.

Obviously. Teams stopped fearing them once he left.

Goldenstate lost the year before with basically the same team, including D.Lee. Besides that OKC did went to the finals and the Miami team was a great team. D.Wade R. Allen L.James S.Battier C. Bosh.
