Default Are you still a kid on the inside?

In your 20's/30's, maybe with a family, but still enjoy childhood hobbies like video games, comic books, etc.?

Yeah. I definitely still am. Had a conversation with one of my best friends I've known since third grade last night. We we're just talking about how quick life hits you at your 20's, it was just yesterday we graduated HS. It's like, we're older but at the same time still young enough and should be enjoying ourselves. I feel like 30 is the new 20, and 40 is the new 30.

Been there with my bros too. I've had this conversation with a few friends, some that evolved since elementary and some since high school. Time flies, we had a group of about 7 dudes who use to hang out a lot in senior year of HS and up to senior year in college. Now post college, it's 3 or 4 new ones I've met in college. Some of them got busy with work, grad school etc. One of my closest buds moved to Florida and the one time he came up to NY, he was lowkey and I found out through FB. We used to be really close, if I was smart enough to go to his college, we may have been roommates.

I remember talking to like 30 year olds recently and they kept saying 20s are an exciting time. You can really experience your surroundings, learn from your mistakes, and no one usually expects a 20 years old to be successful at once. Times were way simpler in HS honestly. If I did it again, I would have changed a lot. One thing did turn out to be true from what I've heard from ppl 3-4 years older than me. The thing was 70% of your HS friends won't keep in touch and you will make closer friends in your 20s. It's funny how I've seen old HS ppl at the gym at random times and in public. I only bother going up
And saying hi if I think it's worth it, I was good friends with them or they were chill and I've known them since 3rd grade on and off. If I never uttered a word to you before, I probably won't say a word to you now.

To answer OP, yes to an extent. I still play video games here and there but not nearly as much as I used to in high school and in my first year of college. overall, I've way mature than I was 5 years ago.

Depends what the meaning of being a kid on the inside is?

I still dig comics, games, and all of that.

My emotional maturity and how I deal with situations has changed though.
