I drink black coffee because I was always too lazy to put cream and sugar when I need it right there and then.

Later on in life, correct me if I am wrong, met a coffee snob and he told me all coffees are supposed to be had straight black. Since then I just been drinking it like that even if it is shitty Foldger's coffee.

I usually pour or have it poured in a cup and then lift the cup to my mouth where I tilt the cup and have the liquid go in my mouth and then I swallow it. I sample it in small amounts first usually to make sure it is not too hot. Once it is cool enough, I may take larger gulps.
