TDK is one of my favorite movies, but he didn't do much to make it great. For me, his best aside from American Psycho have to be Machinist and Prestige.

I fully agree. I was trying to differentiate his performance and his movie, saying that TDK and American Psycho are my favorite movies of his, but American Psycho is my favorite performance of his.

Machinist is all about his performance, but otherwise is not a very good movie IMO.

Prestige is an above average performance for me, but a great movie. I do have it a notch below TDK and American Psycho in my book, but that is not something to be insulted by.
