I'm fully aware that it is unreasonable to think all illegal aliens should be sought out and deported. But don't you think all illegal aliens guilty of committing crimes should be deported? At the very least I believe all illegals should be instantly deported if caught close to the border, arrested for any felony, violent crime, and theft/fraud related crime.

Because illegals are now getting away with serious crimes and just let go. Case in point. An illegal alien from Honduras kills an American citizen because of drag racing while drunk and he isn't even detained by ICE. The Obama appointed director of ICE says the crime was not considered violent so he was let go. WTF? Am I just out of touch with things or does this seem ridiculous to you?

No, he is a native American citizen born in the United States, and has all the rights that other American citizens hold. On top of that he's a multi-millionaire and even if you did find a way to deport him, he'd easily be able to re-enter the country with an entrepreneurship visa.

And what about the kids who came in here legally but their parents could not get the visas renewed? Are they committing crimes by being here? Should we get them out of here the second they get a ticket for jaywalking? Car accident?
