apparently it was a rumor circulating the internet and completely made up at that. Adele angrily addressed it at a recent concert.

Adele told her audience: "You don't get to make a film without my f*****g permission. Shut up! There's no film... I've heard there are rumours about Rebel Wilson will be playing me in a movie – let's see if that turns out to be true." She added: "Just because I'm plus-sized doesn't mean she's playing me."

Too old, and I have not seen her in a serious role. She is also not British, so that could be a challenge unless she has an excellent British accent. I've seen more actors go successfully from British to American accents than vice versa.

I only just recently realized Rebel Wilson is a real person. I legit thought it was a girl in a fat costume.

What I find bizarre is that the girl is obviously obese, has the money and resources to lose weight and become healthy, but chooses to remain morbidly obese.

I understand promoting the idea that women should be proud and comfortable in their own skin, but there's a difference between promoting confidence, and promoting an unhealthy, obese lifestyle.
