Also, it is hilarious that almost every component of it polls well above 50% approval (kids on parent insurance till 26, preexisting conditions, etc), but when it is polled as a whole (obamacare) it is well under 50%. Talk about hype and spin

killing osama bin laden is totally true, but its significance is exaggerated. Al qaeda is decentralized, its impossible to decapitate.

Obama has allowed gays to serve openly in the military this is true. Also he took this position only because of gay donors to his campaigns and the fact that overall national polls have supported this. by the time he supported this, it wasn't a courageous thing to do.

The affordable care act (obamacare) doesn't proved single payer, or a government health insurance option. This plan is largely a rip off of Mitt Romney's plan when he was governor of Massachusetts. I believe Obama got the same guy to write his plan that worked on Romney's

Romney's plan was largely based on the heritage foundations (conservative think tank) mandates, meant to eliminate the free rider problem. It forces people to buy insurance. The very poor have medicaid, its those who used to be too wealthy to qualify for medicaid and too poor to buy private insurance that are now mandated to buy insurance.

its not universal healthcare but you gotta take baby steps. ACHA is a godsend for small businesses and the self insured. Oct 1 the new insurance marketplace is open for business and I can actually get some AFFORDABLE quality health insurance!!

first off, obamas stance has always been investing in alternative energy. he has not went ape shit drilling for oil, even though everyone shitted on him to do so because of high gas prices. he knew if the gas prices were steadily high, that people would have to convert to a better alternative. he set new standards for car fuel efficiency as well. He has also given energy grants to tesla and fisker karma. a bailout for GM which owns chevy who made the chevy volt, the first electric production car.

and about Tesla, if you didnt know, the government loaned them 1 billion dollars, they have already paid most of it back, and their company is booming. they are the leaders of electric car manufacturing, and in a decade will be the biggest car export out of any country. Tesla will be the leading provider of electric vehicles for the world, and america will benefit from their success, all due to the government under the obama administration giving them a jumpstart
