Default Does Klay travel on that jumpstop move?

I've seen it a lot this season and I've always had the same question. Is that a legal move? Always been a bit confused about how the jump stop is called in the NBA.

You can jump-stop as long as you don't take another step.

When you jump-stop, and then pivot, like LeBron consistently does... that's a travel.

do you have to come down with both feet at the same time? also I think he drags his feet at times too.

Both feet have to land at the same time, and neither foot can move unless you jump and pass/shoot.

Can't you land from a jump stop with both feet at the same time and then declare either one a pivot foot?

always thought it depends on whether or not you already used your dribble.

Nope. A jump-stop counts as both your steps. The only thing you're allowed to to do after a jump-stop is pass, jump, or shoot.

Also, at no time are you allowed to jump off one foot, and land on the same foot. They were letting players get away with that for awhile, but the league tightened up on that rule a couple years back.
