Lebron still led the team in all the big categories ( Points, assists, rebounds, etc.) when he won the rings.

I actually want Durant to Warriors.
If Lebron and Cavs beat them, Lebron will be officially the GOAT.

But if not, the Kurry family will spend their lives on here calling him a choker

Oh, and Wade or Bosh never played much less beat Lebron in the playoffs nor were his rivals: Boston and Orlando was.
Both are superteam , don't try harder .

LeBron joining the Heat was nowhere near as bad. They won 47 games and were a 1st round exit.

It would be like KD joined the Pelicans and got Harden or someone like that to join him.

Btw, Bosh was never close to as good as Harden.

10 years from now if Durant ends up with 5-6 rings and 3-4 FMVPs then he will get full credit from the media, his peers, NBA legends, and the general public. I thought that Bran would get no credit when he joined Wade and Bosh. However, he got full credit for all his rings and is being mentioned as a top 5 GOAT. Winning is all that matters. Iggy lost to the dubs in the playoffs when he was on Denver the he signed with them the following year. Now he has a title and FMVP on his resume. It's ironic that Bran stans are the ones complaining about this possibility. Bran is the guy who set the precedent for this kind of thing to go down.

Durant will get criticized initially but 10 years from now if the Durant, Curry, Klay, and Draygod core stays healthy they will be in the conversation for the greatest dynasty in NBA history. Jordan won a 3 peat at ages 33, 34, and 35. Kobe was the 3rd best player in the NBA at 34 before his Achilles tear. Curry is 28 and Durant is 27. Both guys don't really on their athleticism. They will be top 10 players for the next 7-8 years. 5-6 rings is a realistic goal.

Doesn't really matter tbh, a ring is a ring. I'm not the type that was against collusion. I never hated that LeBron went to the Heat, more of the manner that he did.

That said, as a Warriors fan, I'd prefer we didn't sign him. Not because it would somehow taint a possible Title, but because I like how our team was formed and have grown together organically.
Yeah they will. We talk on here about how much help MJ, Hakeem, Duncan, etc had in their runs.

to be fair, he would only be the second best player on the Warriors. Curry is the unanimous MVP.

Lebron joined the heat when they were scrubs, losing first round/missing playoffs/lottery, virtually no allstars (washed up), only won 47 games, etc.

Durant would be joining the most stacked team in NBA history, has like 4 current allstars, "umvp", best shooter in NBA history in Klay, won championship last season due to injuries, back to back finals appearances, 73 wins, coach of the year, etc.

the two scenarios don't really compare at all.
