2009 wasn't a chokejob. If anything, 2010 has a stronger case. He had that infamous game 5 against Boston where he mentally was just on another planet, and his game 6 looked better in the box score than it really was.

But 2009, his teammates just did little. Howard was killing them in the paint and the Cavs couldn't close out on the 3 point shooters quick enough. That's why they needed Lebron's miracle in game 2 to even the series, they had blown a 25 point lead because of their inability to close out on 3s or stop Howard on easy dunks and lay-ins.

It's too bad, because a Lakers-Cavs final, especially with the star power, would have been better than the very underwhelming Lakers-Magic final we got.

And people (probably Lebron stans, the Lakers were just a better team) still would be "melting down" on here about it 7 years later.
