How come you don't want him in Dallas? I think he'd be great there.

he's so over-rated...and not a reliable character guy.

last thing Dallas needs is to max out another guy that doesn't deserve it. just look at the Parsons situation...it was a worse disaster than I ever even imagined.

Do Mavs fans still think Parsons was a good signing?

    Their getting considerations

What are your lakers getting the past four years?

Could you elaborate on that Parsons disaster? There are rumors about the Magic being after him (which I don't want to believe) and throwing a max at him (which I seriously don't want to believe)... so, can you maybe shed some light on this matter? I know so little on his story in Dallas, other than he is injury prone and has weak knee(s?).

We'll work our way through the draft, bruh. I ain't got no worries.

Gap between off season interest/consideration and championship team is vast.

Cuban is a championship or bust owner.

Lakers/Mavs/Heat/Celtics all in the same boat, tbh.

He destroyed our team...not only due to going after him in free agency which broke up a quality team, but with his pathetic play and inability to stay on the court.

It ruined two quality years from Dirk.

The Mavs before Parsons had just taken the champion Spurs to 7. We were only getting better and growing.

We didn't go after a guard in free agency to get him...so then we were left with a huge hole there...which led to the Rondo trade...which means we lost out on Crowder (who happens to be better than Parsons now)...

It was awful for us...never made any sense at all.

Paying Whiteside, in my opinion, would be a similar mistake. Hopefully if he comes he actual plays...but I doubt he comes anyway.

Maybe in other circumstances, but he was never what the Mavs needed. All he did was take away Dirk's touches (which hurt us because Dirk is way better) and do nothing to help our toughness/defense.

    It was a disaster...

Everyone that argued with me on this for the last 2 years should be here admitting I was right.

I do agree there is a risk there. Especially about his character, but I don't know, I feel like the Mavs dont have other options. They have made it clear they want to be competitive as long as Dirk is on the team, and they have a good chance to sign Whiteside.

Who knows, maybe Whiteside signing entices Conley to come as well?

    Conley/Wesley/Anderson?/Dirk/Whiteside is pretty good imo.

I do agree about the Parsons signing.. that was a disaster. I loved that Ellis and Dirk pairing, Parsons coming aboard ended that.
