Saw this last night...
The video obviously didn't start rolling until after everything important happened, so I won't give my opinion on the incident because obviously, he wasn't laying like that while talking to his patient; but I will say this:
Charles Kinsey: 'Sir, why did you shoot me?'
Cop: 'I don't know.'
If ^that^ much is true, the cop is going to jail for a long time.

I didn't see him get shot in the video I watched. Is it in the OP?
It's pretty ****ing important to see the whole incident, and not just the aftermath. Like trying to solve a crime looking at CCTV footage that only shows a half destroyed liquor store and not the robbery in progress.
Obviously, something happened that caused an officer to draw his gun.

When people are lying on the ground and being compliant and they still get shot...........
Feel bad for that dude, taking special needs kids out into the community can be fraught with difficulty and this is a situation that he was put into not of his own making.

According to the story that autistic kid had a toy car and a member of the public called 911 reporting that he had a gun so the cops rolled up with that in mind. This is where you have to apportion some degree of blame to the person who called 911, if you mistake a toy car for a gun you are an idiot and you played no small part in creating this situation.

Yea, there was a black dude in the street. What's he doing out there? Who knows who he might turn rabid on? Gotta put him down!

Cool strawman ***...
My guess, it was a rookie or recently appointed officer, who had his finger on the trigger cause he wasn't trained correctly, and shot off a negligent discharge. Probably had a Glock with no safety.
In the Marines, if you're a hot chick, shit like this gets swept under the rug.

Unless the cop was drunk and set fire to a kindergarten, it's very unlikely the state will prosecute him.

i dont get it. you need video evidence of the shooting part and not the persons testimony and some corroborated video evidence, but you want to believe in falacies like the cop was a rookie and let off an unintended round. im not saying thats a bad theory, but your process of logic is totally biased.
