What can Durant or Curry do to surpass Kobe?

Re: What can Durant or Curry do to surpass Kobe?
If one of them becomes the Warrior's clear best player, wins 2-3 titles as the man/FMVP's they'd certainly have an argument

Great college starter
Re: What can Durant or Curry do to surpass Kobe?
Not gonna happen.
Durant is already way too far into his career. Amazing player obviously, but has always been 2nd best.
Kobe, love him or hate him, was the best player in the NBA for a few years.
As for Curry - he is a glorified role-player. Nothing but Steve Kerr with more athleticism.

Not over Kobe since he won with Gasol as his 2nd option. You could argue that Gasol would be the 5th best player on the Warriors. Durant would have a case over Bird since he played with 3 other studs too- DJ, McHale, and Parish.

So is it a real thing with Kobe stans that going through the average West and beating the Magic/Celtics is the second best individual run of all time?

It's embarrassing how little respect you kobe stans give Gasol...and just plain absurd the way you completely gloss over Odom's contributions.

Gasol was worse than Kevin Love and Chris Bosh before he joined with Kobe...

Why don't you shut the f*ck up?
Your hero choked in the finals and nobody cares what you have to say.
However, Gasol still hit the game winner to win a series off Kobe's brick and saved Kobe in game 7 of the finals with 19 points and 18 rebounds, along with Metta dropping 20.

Bosh's Finals Game 7 was better tbh

Gasol on the Grizzlies was inferior to Raptors Bosh and T Wolves Love. That stats back it up. Odom was just an inconsistent role player.

So Pau would be the 5th current All-NBA player to round out the 2017 GSW starting line-up?

What happened in 2016 that didn't happen in 2015? The major MCL injury
The time table for return of an MCL sprain is 2 to 4 weeks.
(Keep in mind that healing timetable is for every day activity, nothing more strenuous than walking up one flight of stairs, NOT playing professional basketball)
Stephen Curry returned from the injury after only 2 weeks because the Warriors were struggling against Portland without him.
Stephen Curry re-aggravated his knee injury by coming back too early and then playing 40+ minutes of playoff basketball plus overtime in his record setting performance against Portland.
Therefore we can conclude that Curry's MCL injury was the differentiating factor which lowered Curry's production

He beat the Spurs 4-1 in 2008.
