Very similar player to this guy OP mentions. Only didn't play on as high octane of an offense, and wasn't the same level of a liability on defense.

One is among the toughest players to ever play the game, fighting through bleeding nose, eye injury and who knows what else.

If Nash had Klay, Iggy, Green and Bogut he probably will make the finals too.

When it comes to combining shooting, handles, and dimes at the PG, Price, Nash, and Steph are the BIG THREE! Of course Steph has taken it to the ultimate level because of the high scoring. But Nash was ALREADY an All Star PG in Dallas BEFORE he ever got to Phoenix.

In Dallas, they had CRAZY DEPTH on that team. So much offensive skill that he didn't have to dominate the ball. IN PHX, the PG MUST be more ball dominant in Dantoni's system. And all types of guys were having career years in that system. Why is Nash THE ONLY ONE who people seem to diss?

He made his teammates better in a revolutionary offensive system. U take Nash off that team, and the whole thing comes apart. WHICH MEANS he's the MVP in a given year. MVP and best player are two TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS! Nobody EVER considered Nash the best player in the world. But I do admit, two MVPs were a bit much. Not saying he wasn't deserving, but Shaq should have gotten one of those. Among pass first PG's, Nash is the most gifted EVER in terms of shooting, passing, and handles as a package.
