I think its fair to say out of the core players, Klay has the biggest adjustment. Curry's going to get his, not as many ppg as last year but he'll settle around 25 which was more in line with prior years before last season's explosion. Klay has now been relegated to a clear number 3 role, and Durant has taken some of his shots. That's tough for a rhythm shooter like Klay. Draymond will be OK because his game isn't reliant on getting a lot of shots anyway, so he'll do the little things like he always does. I'd say Klay is out of rhythm but it's way too small a sample size, at this point in the year, to push the panic button.

Marc Gasol this season: 6-13 three pointers
Klay Thompson this season: 3-28 three pointers

Hasn't been that big of a downgrade, certainly less than I expected as well.

    3PA Averages per 36
    13/14 - 6.7
    14/15 - 8.0
    15/16 - 8.8
    16/17 - 7.0

    FG Averages per 36
    13/14 - 15.8
    14/15 - 19.0
    15/16 - 18.7
    16/17 - 16.6

The main reason IMO is that the bench doesn't have as much firepower as it did last year. Livingston and Iguadala are 1 year older, whiles Rush, Speights & Barbosa all left. Kerr and Brown have been using both Durant and Klay as big options for the B team, they are 1a and 1b for the bench squad. That's how they're getting a good amount of shots per game without affecting Steph as much. The problem is that all 3 of them have shot poorly by their standards into the new season. Even Durant has been ass from the 3, and he's been free for most of them. Klay is getting more open than the previous season. Durant is a career 38% and shooting 23% despite getting more looks than at OKC. The shots are just not falling in, and this is just inevitable that it's a matter of time IMO. The truth is they stunk it up from 3 and need to step it up, but I'm confident they will.

It's crazy that Durant is still shooting 68% TS overall while being shit from 3 so far. Curry's 3point numbers aren't OUT OF THIS WORLD relative to last year, but still shooting a good percentage so far in line with his career averages.

I find it funny that KD is a team killer to everyone but Warrior fans. People who have been watching KD think he's adapting extremely well with the Warriors, and it's not just because he scores points. I think the P&R with Curry/Durant will become the deadliest weapon in the NBA once their chemistry ramps up.

Not worried. This just means Klay is going to have a 10/11 from 3, 40point game this week.

streaky shooter, he'll but up to 40% soon

If you want to talk about something overrated with Klay, it's his defense, not his shooting

He's a below average defender who somehow gets credit for being great

I don't understand how the 2nd fastest person to 1000 made three's in NBA history can be considered a "streaky" shooter.
