adding All-Star Jimmy Butler for nearly nothing
Wouldn't call a young 20 point scorer almost nothing personally not to mention the Wolves last two lottery selections!
The Wolves were already a young and rising team, but now with the likes of Butler and other savvy veterans, they will look to be a force to be reckoned with in the West as well.
more importantly maybe the best coach in the world
with Rudy Gobert anchoring the defense, several new players that are bound to make an impact
Why are they bound to? They could all suck. Jonas is the one that makes sense to me
far from a weak link in the dominant Northwest Division.
definitely the weak link
there’s a chance that Utah’s division is about to get even more stacked with yet another All-Star in Carmelo Anthony set to switch teams
I think he could make a team worse personally. One of the most overrated players ever!
it appears now that Melo is expanding his list of teams to include two Northwest Division foes – the Oklahoma City Thunder and Portland Trail Blazers.
He hasn't included Portland
One would imagine that the Melo saga should be wrapped up in the next few days
Don't count on it. You just wrote that it will be hard because of his contract
even though training camp is essentially upon us, this wacky offseason is far from finalized just yet.
Yeah we're still waiting for the Jazz to add one more guy to camp

Only get to boo Enes once a year now. Hayward once a year. Deron currently out of the league. What will Jazz fans do?

OKC opened up a roster spot and Semaj Christon is their 3rd pg so Neto would make sense there. I'd take him over Felton too especially on a team that will need D and shooters around their stars

However, according to the recent ESPN Preseason BPI (Basketball Power Index) Rankings, the Jazz are calculated to find themselves just barely on the outside looking in this upcoming season. The rankings have them pinned as the 16th best team in the league overall and 9th in the Western Conference, finishing behind the likes of the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers.
a lot higher than I see them!
I was actually surprised to see the Los Angeles Clippers pinned as high as they were
2 all-stars one of which is comparable to the Jazz's best player and the other an actually superstar unlike the half dozen this site likes to tout!
all signs this offseason have seemed to indicate that the Jazz are going to have an incredible chemistry
really?
unmatched depth that will allow them to remain formidable for a full 48 minutes night in and night out.
Unmatched?

About 30 percent of Hood's shots came in the floater zone between 3 and 16 feet from the rim, a share that ranked in the 90th percentile among wing players, according to research from Ben Falk of Cleaning the Glass. Trade a few of those for drives and 3s, and Utah will have something.
He's best in the mid range
Hood could average 20 per game this season, but will they be the kind of points that lead to winning?
not if he's starting
