This just in: I have become a Jermaine O'Neal convert in the last five seconds. At first I was going to type a reply to catzhernandez saying something like this:
GOD DAMMIT CATZHERNANDEZ GIVE YOUR FREAKING POINTS TO GRANGER AND NOT ONEAL HE'S YOUNGER AND TAKES UP LESS CAP SPACE
Then I had an epiphany: Granger may be better for the futre, but Jermaine O'Neal is a prime star down low, and is the most important player on the Pacers roster. Just because Granger is the best of the young guys doesn't mean that he is the player of the future. He's not the Saviour of Seattle or the Christ Child; no, far from it: He is the fundamental sidekick who will never be a superstar but will always be solid.
Jermaine O'Neal, you now have my points. Danny Granger, I'm sorry....But you're fired.
Wouldn't object to a Bynum trade, however. Kid's got talent, and may end up being a better player than O'Neal. Time's ticking, Indiana.
