    Default Best WR corps ever?

I'm talking strictly wideputs so TEs don't count (Fck Jay Novacek, pt)

Anyways a few I think belong up there:

1999 Rams- Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, Az Hakim, Proehl
1988 Redskins- Art Monk, Gary Clark, Ricky Sanders
1989 49ers- Jerry Rice, John Taylor
1991 Bills- Andre Reed, James Lofton, Don Beebee
1986 Dolphins- Mark Duper, Mark Clayton,
1998 Vikings- Randy Moss, Cris Carter, Jake Reed
2008 Colts- Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon
or you could go 2004 and sub out Garcon with Stokely when Harrison was prime
2007 Patriots- Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Donte Stallworth

    What do you think?

I think 98 Vikings has to be the winner here, nobody else had two guys who are both top 10 all time. The Colts with Harrison and Wayne is probably runner up.

Julio and White deserve to be mentioned.

1999 Rams easily for me. Two HOF WRs surrounded by very capable 3 and 4th WRs and Faulk has to be included in the WR group he split out as a true WR plenty and had 1000 yards recieving

If we count TE the 2011 Patriots were stacked on paper

    Welker
    Ochocinco
    Branch
    Edelman
    Gronk
    Hernandez

But we know how that went. Chad didn't know the plays, Branch was old and Edelman was mainly a KR/PR

Yeah, that's true. Didn't ATL have a decent number three on those teams? Maybe Gabriel or somebody?

I don't see how any corp can be better than Moss and Carter. They made Culpepper a superstar.

Yea, the eye test showed me that The greatest show on turf absolutely decimated coverage from every angle with those guys. Warner was the best QB for them at that time.

Also worth noting while not in consideration was the Bengals when they had C. Johnson, Houshmandzadeh & Chris Henry (rip). Chris Henry was way better than a lot of the number 3's on the teams listed

also prime Fitzgerald and prime Boldin were nothin to **** with

well there are different ways to judge "best". I can see how people would pick the 99 rams based on the fact that their #3, #4 (and #5 if you count faulk) were far more impressive than the 3-4-5 on a team like the 98 Vikings.

that said I am definitely picking that vikings team. they had two guys who are both top 10 all time (including moss, a once in several generations talent who is like #2 or 3 overall). some of these teams dont even have one guy who is top 10 all time, and aside from the vikings nobody has ever had 2 of them.

OP got the wrong 9ers unit up there. Should be that 2000 team with TO and Rice. Just to be a contrarian to nanners point... this might be 2 of the top 5 GOATs
