They fact that they only lost by 9 shows that the Rockets lost this game. The law of averages show if they take those 27 3s again they hit like 6-8 of them. Makes a huge difference in the outcome. The Warriors were handed a gift with Ariza not being able to hit a single shot.

Yep.

But at the end of the day. The Rockets lost an all-nba level player that could have mitigated a lot of the issues they faced in that game.

Just a damn shame.

In the end it was just as I predicted on the second page of this thread, injuries dictated the outcome. First Iguidala got injured which allowed Houston to stay competitive, then CP3 got injured and it was all over.

Such a shame. I'd love it if they could fight it out under perfect conditions, but the result would have been the same anyway.
