Cyberpunk 2077 - gameplay

Dead honest, as amazing as Tsushima, LOU2, RDR2 looks on base PS4. CP2077 doesn't even compete visually to even COD Modern Warfare. It looks similar to early PS4 games in 2013 like Killzone Shadowfall, a bit better than Deus Ex.

Gameplay, sound, mechanics are fine and haven't notice any gamebreaking bugs. But it's definitely going to be disappointing visually for people on base PS4 imo, because i'm on PS5 @ 60fps and it's fidelity is meh. Some places look incredible like the world building, then you see some NPC's walking around and they look like play-doh. Mind you i'm on console, i'm sure PC on ultra settings look better

That's just my early impressions rn

RPG elements are great, story/dialogue is great too. Enemies are a bit bullet spongy until you tier up your gear/skill tree

But no doubt it's best to wait for this on next gen or quality PC build. Watched a bit of PS4 Pro earlier for help on this mission and it looked real blurry. Almost looked like GTAV in first person kinda

Yeah after playing the first few missions the game feels a LOT like a re-skinned fallout to me. I def feel some GTA vibes too, although thats mainly from the perspective of dialogue and world-building (like the tv shows or the things that random homeless people say as you run past)

The game looks (and runs) great on my PC... IMO the only game that has superior graphics is RDR2.

they released a patch a few hours ago and it looks ALOT better on PS5 now, still some pop-ins but so much sharper

Someone at CD Project Red thought hey lets make a next gen game and sell it backwards compatible for PS4/XB1


Anyone remember GTA5 and Metal Gear 5 on PS3? It actually looked and ran legit even though it was primarily for PS4/XB1


The state CP2077 is at on PS4/XB1 is atrocious, lol i've never seen a ps4 game look as bad. Not even PUBG

Just got the $59.99 credit.


I'll prlly get it 6-12 months from now when the expansions drop
