    https://www.slcdunk.com/2019/1/1/181...trade-deadline

The Jazz have played 21 road games and just 16 home games so far, meaning they have only 20 road games left and 25 home games remaining.
a top road team and one of the worst at home

Getting out of that early hole will be a lot easier if Dante Exum continues to play like he did against stiff competition in December. This is a little bit of small sample size theater, but Exum is finally healthy and playing well. His December, capped with his 13 point, 13 assist performance in his first start of the year in the blowout win over the New York Knicks, has set him up to set new career highs almost across the board.
Looked like the same old Dante tonite. Teams will adjust. No reason to guard him. Make him miss or turn it over

Should Lindsey decide to sit tight at the deadline, however, that doesn’t end this section of things to look forward to in 2019. Utah’s aforementioned salary books are also positioned so that the team is looking at possible near-max cap space to play with in 2019’s free agency period, but there’s plenty of time for a closer look at that down the road.
Why even discuss it? Unless someone asks out nothing will be done. Only players I can see going are Thabo, Neto and Udoh because they won't be back and maybe Niang because he's not a Quin guy. Rubio and Favors will be back next year. Goss will replace Neto. Bradley replaces Udoh. One roster spot plus their first and 2 Gleague spots. One regular spot might go to one of the guys they have now. It's Utah. Not much will change and why should it? \

Exum at the peak of his powers makes Utah special.
    Simple as that.
I always thought Rudy and Exum held the keys to an unique defensive powerhouse.
I also heard how Exum trained with Baron Davis a few years back, and the pairing always intruiged.
BD has all the mojo and just the right mentality to stir up our young player.
Exums got that kind of ceiling.

could use Burks scoring ability. But since Quin wouldn't let him do his thing it didn't matter

    Andy Bailey

    @AndrewDBailey
Giannis Antetokounmpo is the only player averaging more Win Shares per 48 Minutes than Rudy Gobert this season.

Right now, Gobert is sixth in the NBA in OFFENSIVE Win Shares.

The team has looked to be a shell of its 2017 self, but recently fans have been able to see flashes of what they saw last season. Like any other team in the NBA, this Utah Jazz squad has its weaknesses, but one seems to be glaring 38 games into the season: rebounding.
Imagine that. A team starting 2 center in today's NBA rebounds!

[QUOTE]Despite the difference between the first and fifth-leading rebounder for the Jazz being nearly nine boards per game, the Jazz are tied for first in fewest offensive rebounds allowed per game (8.8) and ninth in opponent defensive rebounds per game (33.7). That averages out to the second-best mark in the league (42.5). For a team that
