The reason I put those two songs up against one another is the similarities you hear of Kashmir in Judgment Day.

Whitesnake had some solid hits, but you can even hear the production difference in Kashmir, the superiority in it, even though it was recorded 14 years earlier.

The problem with Whitesnake is that Coverdale could not or would not keep a stable band line up, yes he surrounded himself with great artists but a lot of the time it didn't work as great as it should have been. Additionally, their music sounded too much like Led Zeppelin which wouldn't be a problem if Whitesnake wasn't led by Coverdale.

John Sykes is a criminally underrated guitarist and could sing too. Dude has quit music though, has been inactive musically for a while now...shame.

I like a lot of led zeppelin’s albums but for some reason i never liked that song. The album is great though.

Kashmir is borderline unlistenable. I’ve never gotten the appeal to this song. Led Zeppelin is incredible because they almost have no bad songs while doing so many different styles but this the worst or one of their worst imo.

    Coverdale is Plant’s cousin.

Only no musical taste Poopsie would be dumb enough to compare no talent White Snake to Zeppelin.

    Kashmir

(Opinion possibly influenced by having heard it performed live)
