Re: The Official Russia Witch Hunt Thread
Correction: January 9, 2019
A previous version of this article misidentified the people to whom Paul Manafort wanted a Russian associate to send polling data. Mr. Manafort wanted the data sent to two Ukrainian oligarchs, Serhiy Lyovochkin and Rinat Akhmetov, not Oleg V. Deripaska, a Russian oligarch close to the Kremlin.
Wow. Just, wow.

I have no idea. Never heard of them. They’re Manafort’s longtime business associates apparently.
The dude is a political consultant. It’s not exactly a scandal that he showed political polls to his business associates. Certainly a big difference between that and giving them to some Russian oligarch.
How do the media CONSTANTLY keep making these giant mistakes? And why do ALL of their mistakes go in the “THIS PROVES COLLUSION!” direction?
CLEARLY what we’re seeing is confirmation bias in the media. They WANT collusion to be true so badly that they’re sloppy and willing to believe ANYTHING that goes in that direction.

These dudes have Russian mob ties aka Putin.
They're also suspected of financing to overthrow and hack elections.
Hmmmm
This is as damning as if it was originally reported.

those were the dudes whose $ paulie was on trial for laundering. they were/are allied with viktor yanukovych, who was putin's puppet in the ukraine. don't know why 6ix thinks that mitigates the obvious collusion scheme here.
but back to deripaska...

the mystery foreign state-owned company that just got boofed by the supreme court yesterday has to pay $50k per day for everyday they don't comply with mueller's grand jury subpoena.
the jeff bezos owned dishonest washington post called the company a 'financial institution'
The entity that is the subject of the cloaked legal battle — known in court papers simply as a “Corporation” from “Country A” — is a foreign financial institution that was issued a subpoena by a grand jury hearing evidence in the special counsel investigation, according to two people familiar with the case.

But let's not get too off-topic. The fact that she has ties to the Russian government is supposedly new information to a lot of people who previously argued that people in the Trump campaign had no dealings with individuals connected to the Russian government.
