but for 50k+? its only 340hp. You can get a base mustang gt for damn near 30k and have 460hp. 120hp more for 20k less

In defense to the car itself, it's probably more of a driver's car than anything else. The dynamics, the ability to navigate corners. It definitely wasn't built stock to perform.

the problem with the price point is that toyota went full lazy on this so they're passing on the premuim price tag to the customers. i.e the $50k price tag is the result of toyota rebranding an existing product. rebranded products almost always come at a premium bc there's an additional party that has to be paid off, in this case, BMW.

congrats if you're foolish enough to pay a middleman for a re-branded product. consumerism at its finest.

I don't know but i honestly like the exterior design of this supra. Sure, it doesn't look like its original model but at least it's not a wannabe unlike say, the hyundai veloster.
