Their best chances are at the clay and grass events. These new guys are terrible at it.
The decline will come hard and fast, more so than it already has. People think it is a slow fall off at their age; nope. You just stop having it one day, and you keep falling short. Another title for either isn't a guarantee.

Alcatraz vs Djokovic leggo
If Carlitos wants to be an all time great, he has to win this

Alc will be too good. Too young and he has great power off both forehand and backhand. Typical type of player Djoko struggled with on clay even earlier in his career. As long as Alcaraz is hitting the lines or close to, he should win.

Re: The Tennis Discussion Thread
This is the overtaking.
Its ripe.
Djokovic is still playing ATG tennis but Alcaraz looks genuinely next level.
I would not mind Djokovic winning at all, but I think Alcaraz takes it in 4.

cramps at 1-1 3rd set. won 1 more game after that.
Ironicay, Djokovic llooked much more spent/toast at the end of the 2nd set / early 3rd.
Alcaraz was a huge 1.3 live favorite at the beginning of the 3rd set.
Then out of nowhere, the cramps started.

Yikes. Happens I guess. I feel like Djok had consistent issues earlier in his career too.
I assume they’ll meet up again at Wimbledon barring any retirements.
