Re: The Tennis Discussion Thread
You probably don't know her much.
She doesn't want to deal with the pressure/anxiety anymore.
It made her stop when she was 19, also.
She seems at peace with herself.
She might come back in like 4-5 years but I doubt it.

Maybe she feels she can't top winning it in her home country. Either way, I give her a year before she comes back
I think the biggest revelation is that she has a male fiancé

So Wimbledon banned Russian and Belarus players... that is some BS. As if these dudes have anything to do with a dictator

ATP made a statement against it, I'm hoping ITF steps up here.
Shameful stuff.

Real deal Alcaraz didn't root for him against Rafa today... but I will root for him against everyone else. Plus I think Rafa could use more rest, Madrid is not a real warmup to Roland Garros. Conditions are totally different. Should use Rome for that.
Excited to see how Carlitos deals with Novak tomorrow.

Re: The Tennis Discussion Thread
So they really put Nadal in Djokovic's quarter... I don't care how random you say it is, that is gonna lose you money. Not to mention Alcaraz in their half as well. So the 3 favorites are all on the same side. That means Tsitsipas gets to eat up. Would have preferred Rafa in Med's quarter but it is what it is.

they should have definitely rigged this one to avoid a Djokovic-Nadal QF...
absolutely no one benefits from that.
Not them, not the sport..
Tsitsipas does.
Shitty situation really.

I don't have the pull you think I do on there. I'm a nobody lol but what do you need me to do?
PS Rafa vs Novak part 59 was beautiful. I hope he ends it winning it, no letdowns especially not to Z.

maybe get an admin to respond to you in a pm, or contact them via email, once they answer to some harmless question, inquire about me (forgive me father), who was banned without reason... yes i made a double account that was auto-banned but only because i was unjustly banned in the first place.

Re: The Tennis Discussion Thread
Nadal winning the Aussie Open is actually huge! The FO he's won so many times. Winning more on clay won't satisfy naysayers who point to his off-clay record as the reason he isn't GOAT. I still think Nadal is the 3rd best after Novak and Fed but he's closing the gap right now. Like I said, the Aussie win was important for his legacy.
I predicted Rafa would end up with the most slams so I'm not surprised one bit. I think he reaches at least 25 slams barring a disaster.
