Atletico get a goal off a bullshit free kick initially. Divine justice I guess.

he got no support upfront yet had a superb first touch, many good passes and actually intent forward play... at one point he had to tell his teammates to speed up play and picked out the open man for him.

You say this shit every year, havent you matured?

For the record, I predict Juve is gonna come back. If they did indeed lose 4-0 (which would be an unfair result; Atleti didn't impress me that much...) I'd say they're done but 2-0 is not a big deal. They just need to score 2 goals to send it to extra time where they are at home with all the momentum. Atleti already allowed a shitload of goals to Dortmund, Real Madrid, and Girona plus have been shut out themselves in many matches. They did their job for one leg but the tie is far from over.

So many boxscore watchers here you are embarassing.

Had you actually watched the both legs you would have known that even with “Goatnaldo” Real would have still lost. Ajax played out of their minds in the 1st leg which they were unlucky to lose and tonight.

Is probably why all your Lebron posts have 0 credibility. I would put my life on the line you have actually not watch a single minute of both matches. And now I realize you probably don't watch any NBA either.

Those of us who did know Ronaldo would not have made any significant difference.

AW is almost always wrong, but Ronaldo would have slotted away opportunities tonight. Not like they were short on chances.

Even when he was there, they never really had to outplay opponents. He was just clinical when he got the ball.

Plow, I do think Ronaldo is the GOAT footballer, but from what my eyes have seen, to beat Ajax they would have needed more than just Ronaldo.

And I disagree. Take Dortmund in 2013 for example how they rekt Real Madrid against " all odds" even with Ronaldo bringing his A game. All great footballers of all time were complemented by good teammates. Ronaldo thrived at Real Madrid with the addition of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric some of the best midfielders of this decade. Yet Modric and Kroos got obliterated by the Ajax midfield in both legs. With Kroos and Modric out of the equation I doubt they would have won against Ajax honestly.
