World Cup approaching. Who are you guys rooting for?

I got both of my countries in this one, Serbia and Canada. Neither is going to win the whole thing but they could do some damage. Out of the big dogs, will probably support Argentina. Would be nice to see Messi finally win the World Cup.

After the exhibition loss against Uruguay, Team Canada still is such a wild card I don't know how things will turn out with Belgium and Croatia in front of them. They do have talents to pull off upsets though.

Being real though, injuries had a huge part in this. We had our three best CB's injured in Araujo, Kounde and Christensen as well as Depay who is our 2nd best attacker after Lewy. Obviously far from winning the CL but we have a solid squad when healthy and IMO at least a top 10 team in Europe behind only Real/Bayern/City/PSG by a hefty margin. Anyone else we have at least a good chance to beat.

Lewy had a monster clutch performance that will again be overlooked.

We have decent odds to beat these teams. They are a bit better than us but same tier IMO. Both teams are a shell of last 2 years thus far.

Missing key defenders for the Clasico but also no Courtois for Real. We gotta try and pound them by 2-3 goals to get some confidence.

The refs against reared their ugly heads. So many times we get fouled and play goes on. And then no PK for us, PK for them. They probably still deserved to win by a whisker on the night due to our shoddy defending but it sucks that Real always seems to get the calls. I saw this stat that last 20 La Liga matchdays Real got 10 penalties called for them and we got exactly 0... That kind of disparity is rather insane.
